Our roots

In the 1970s, two men (Mike Mirick and Travis Houston) began praying over and working from a garage. In 1979, they formed M & H Metal Specialties.

Not long after, another friend named Ray McKenna joined. Together, the trio navigated their way through building a sheet metal fabrication company from the ground up. 

Ray happened to also coach baseball and that's where he met Cliff Sauer and eventually offered him a job in 1985. After working his way up from a helper, to welder, and then a foreman... Cliff bought the company in 2001.
